PREFACE Technopreneur Programme Seoul 2024

KEY(Korea Europe & You) welcomes Delegation from Hong Kong for the Preface Technopreneur Program Seoul 2024.

 

KEY was delighted to be the program partner for the Preface Technopreneur Program Seoul 2024, a three-day study tour for entrepreneurs and business leaders from Hong Kong held in Seoul, South Korea from September 26th to 28th. KEY was excited to have Preface, an EdTech company specialising in AI and coding, as KEY’s first corporate partner headquartered in Hong Kong.

 

With the support of KEY, 25 delegates from Hong Kong were immersed in a programme featuring lectures from renowned speakers on geopolitics, sustainability, and soft power, as well as networking opportunities and cultural experiences.

 

KEY contributed to the program's global perspective by introducing content and inviting speakers with expertise from Europe, expanding the discussion beyond the bilateral Seoul-Hong Kong focus. One of the highlights was a panel discussion moderated by Philippe Li (President, KEY), featuring Seok Pil Kim (CEO, Vivace Lab) and Christopher Moon (CEO, Outcode) who both had experience with the European market environment. They shared insights on Korean innovation, the globalization of Samsung branding, and the AI business ecosystem in Korea. Additionally, a roundtable discussion was organized on the themes of innovation and technology, financial markets and venture capital, and education, arts and culture.

 

In developing the program, the KEY team in Seoul worked closely with Pauline Yeung, KEY member and chief curator of the conference. KEY would also like to thank the Kimboseong Art Center for providing a welcoming venue for the event.
